Based on Benjamin Franklin's design, this chair converts into a small ladder. Utilizing the hinged seat, the back of the chair folds over an rests on the front. This piece is constructed of solid curly black cherry with black walnut accents and inlays. The curly three-dimensional look in the photos to the left are impressive but not even close to seeing it in person. Diamond shaped black walnut inlays are viewable in the bottom/right photo.
